Pereira Lima - Poet of the Millennium

COSMOS-EPOPEE PLAN

Go back
COSMOS-EPOPEE is man's epopee from his arrival at the planet to his exit to Astral Era. It's composed into three parts: Past-Cosmos, Modern-Cosmos and Future-Cosmos.

Portraying man's life in he planet is an ambitious project, at immodest. But let's remember Victor Hugo who said in the preface of "La Légende des Siècles", that if his verses were not beautiful, at least his poetical plan was. We paraphrase Plato to whom the idea of creating stars was more beautiful than the stars themselves. Plan that we are about to examine, shortly, on the next pages.

The Epopee combine remote and millennial dreams of History, Philosophy, Mythology and Religion. We've come from a supercivilization and we are biblical fallen angels, Nietzsche's Super-man, Vico's eternal return, Plato's World-Perfection. We descend from a supercivilization that came from a superplanet and searched, after its extinction, for some place to leave in. Part of this initial trunk fell on Earth during its formation and has been evolving ever since until the Spatial Era. We are still looking for the lost trunk and being able to know all truth about its origin, purpose, God , immortality and so on. But what if we don't find it? The mystery will always remain (idea converged by the poem "Astral Legend").
